Welcome to Wuutsabaya, Niwic!

Some may wonder, "Where did Wuutsabaya get such a strange name?".  The word "Wuutsabaya" (pronounced WUTTS-ah-vah-yah) is the Comanche word for "rattlesnake".  Wuutsabaya was named by William McBroom, the governor, because the Comanches once roamed in what is now Wuutsabaya.

Wuutsabaya is located in Del City, Oklahoma, and consists of the city of Williamsburg (the provincial capital).  Williamsburg is Governor William McBroom's room, and is on the upper floor of the McBrooms' house.  Wuutsabaya and Tatooine are the two smallest provinces in Niwic.  One may be bigger than the other, but they have never been measured to find out.  For more information about Wuutsabaya, e-mail Governor McBroom.

Wuutsabaya was never a nation, as were the other 3 original provinces, but was created on Union Day (December 28th), 2002 when the Republic of Niwic was created.  William McBroom, the governor and only resident, created the province.  For several months after it was created, Wuutsabaya didn't have a name.  It was just called "the nameless province."

The Great Seal of Wuutsabaya

The Great Seal of Wuutsabaya was designed by Benjamin Bruce, but the idea to put the Alamo on the seal was from Governor McBroom.  The border of the Seal is green, the provincial colour, and says "THE GREAT SEAL OF THE PROVINCE OF WUUTSABAYA" at the top, and has 3 stars on the bottom, which symbolise the three other original provinces.  The interior of the seal has a picture of the Alamo in Texas, U.S.A. on it.  This is because Governor McBroom was originally from San Antonio, Texas, where the historic Alamo is.  Above the Alamo it says "DECEMBER 28, 2002" (the day that Wuutsabaya became a province), and "Wuutsabaya".  Below the Alamo, it says "NIWIC".
