Welcome to Tatooine! Tatooine was originally a district in the Republic of Benjaland, but later was owned by several different countries, and at one time had its own government. The Provincial Flag was designed by Alec Smith, then Governor of the Benjish District of Tatooine, now the Governor of the Niwican Province of Tatooine. It was based on the flag of the Republic of Benjaland, which had the same stripes, and the Union Jack in the canton. The eight stripes represented the four original Benjish provinces, district and territory, the District of Benjaland, the Province of Kentucky, the Province of Budington, and Mushroom Hill Territory. Each one was represented by a black stripe and an orange stripe. The Tatooine flag, instead of the Union Jack in the canton, has a Tatooine symbol. It was taken from a STARWARS movie. Orange and black were the original colours of Tatooine, but the new colour is blue. Tatooine makes up 5% of the total population of Niwic.

It was a Benjish district. Later, it became ½ Benjaland and ½ Titan. In June of 2002, Tatooine became ⅓rd Benjaland, ⅓rd Titan, and ⅓rd Tatooine. Tatooine then had its own government (or ⅓rd of one anyway!). In August of 2002, Tatooine became ¼th Benjaland, ¼th Titan, ¼th Tatooine, and ¼th Corosaunt. On December 28th, 2002 Tatooine became one of the four original provinces of Niwic. Tatooine’s name was taken from a STARWARS movie. It includes all of Alec’s room and a part of the garage. It is located in Aledo, Texas.
