The Niwican Treasury is located in the Office of the President in Inaduh, Province of Vipers.  The treasury is divided up into three sections:  The first holds the Niwican Government's money, The second holds unissued Niwican currency, and the third holds the U.S. currency backing up the Niwican currency in circulation.  The Treasury is a locked trunk.  Right now the Treasury is empty, but when the new monetary system is established, it will hold money and it will be the main location for exchanging U.S. currency for Niwican currency. 

         The National currency of Niwic is the Pound (£) and pence (p).  There are 100p in £1, and the exchange rate between U.S. dollars and Niwican pounds is $1 to the pound.  The reason that Niwic uses pounds is because the Republic of Benjaland used pounds, and it was the only one of the 3 nations that were united that had its own currency.  Therefore, William McBroom, former NDT Director, decided on pounds.
