The History of Benjaland

2000-2002

        The Republic of Benjaland was created by me (Benjamin Bruce) in the summer of 2000. Benjaland and the District of Benjaland were named after me. On January 29^th, 2001, Benjaland conquered the U.P.S.  After about a month, Deborahland liberated it. Not for long though, Benjaland got the U.P.S. back. But then Deborahland freed it again. It went back and forth, back and forth, until finally on October 5^th, 2001 a treaty was signed that gave Benjaland the western half of the U.P.S., which was made into the Benjish province of Goatland. Also, Benjaland had the United Provinces of Wind Island, Mushroom Hill, and Kentucky. Shortly after though, Deborahland took over Wind Island, which is now part of the Pasture, Land of Acorns.  On January 30^th, 2002, Alec Smith’s room became Benjaland, and was called the District of Tatooine. Benjaland used to just have provinces, but from 2001 to 2002 it had provinces, districts, and a territory. On December 28^th, 2002 (Union Day), Benjaland became a province of Niwic.
